Start off your career by retiring to an island paradise which bears a shocking resemblance to Duluth, Minnesota. Then befriend an active agent with an absurd code name. Maybe Aunt Mary, or something less subtle if you can manage. Feed your retirement-induced drinking problem by frequenting an old watering hole called The Dragon Lady, or ya know, any of a number of less offensive names.
Of course, you’ll need an adversary! Why not get the guy from Lovejoy to wantonly murder people, and have him spend 75% of the time dressed like a priest? If that’s not enough, you could always befriend the schlubbiest guy to ever schlub in the schlub game. Bonus points if he finds a way to sing unintelligibly.
