Every elite crew of mercenaries put together to do a job has to include the classic character types.
The brawler. The sniper. The driver. The quirky explosives expert. The tech wiz. And of course, the guy who wears a Confederate hat for no explained reason despite living in contemporary Los Angeles. Of course, that guy is the leader, and of course, he’s played by Robert Davi. Meet The Bad Pack.
When a small border town in Texas is terrorized by a white supremacist militia, there’s only one thing for the peaceful citizens to do: call the cops, or some other authorities, because this is America and a large evil militia is committing murder out in the open? Nah, too obvious. Instead, they find a classified ad posted by some mercenary guy in Los Angeles, scrape together all the money they can, and go to L.A. in hopes they can find him. What could go wrong?
They do find him, in a downtown diner, Confederate cap and all (and remember, he’s not a member of the racist militia - he fights them… despite the hat). He’s Robert Davi, aka one of the bad guys from The Goonies, and they convince him to assemble a team of his old buddies for “one last job.” Including the driver, played by none other than Rowdy Roddy Piper! Shockingly, no one in the crew is recruited while chopping logs for a woodpile.
From there it’s an action frenzy at the border with the baddest of packs. Strap in for shootouts and incredibly unmotivated motorcycle stunts, and join Mike, Kevin and Bill for The Bad Pack!
