American Werewolf

For far too long, we’ve been shipping our best American Werewolves overseas. An American Werewolf in London. An American Werewolf in Paris. Enough already!

It’s time at last for an American Werewolf right here in America. Specifically, in rural Virginia. And with one thousandth the budget and skill of those other movies. That’s just good old American know-how!

Even “better”: American Werewolf was written and directed by Rob Roy - no, not the cocktail or Scottish folk hero, we’re talking about the Rob Roy behind the one and only Lycan Colony! On top of that, American Werewolf was released just last year in 2024, so the filmmaking techniques have obviously gotten much more modern and sophisticated and hahahaha okay, can’t even finish that sentence. Fans of Lycan Colony, you can expect to see plenty of “MISTAAAAKES!”

The story centers on Sheriff Sam Anderson, a grizzled sort of guy who keeps the peace in the Appalachian town of Pinegrove. Or maybe it’s Pengrove; the movie can’t seem to decide. Ten years ago his wife was killed or taken by some kind of creature, and now the attacks are happening again. The Sheriff will need the help of his pothead deputy who resembles Elon Musk, and a local vlogger named Raven Nevermore, to get to the bottom of this. He’ll also need to spend a lot of time sitting on a filthy couch and eating cold chili from a can. Don’t question his process!

Simply put, it’s Birdemic with werewolves, in a sleepy mountain town instead of the Bay Area. If that sounds good to you, you’re in the right place. Join Mike, Kevin and Bill on a puzzling hike down the Appalachian Trail to find American Werewolf!
