Xtro 3: Watch the Skies

There’s a top secret military operation happening on a remote island. They’re working on a delicious new type of candy that also cures most known diseases and they intend to make it free for everybody — we’re just kidding, they found some aliens, and they’re cutting them open.

Investigating these unwilling vivisections are a completely authorized group of competent military officers with loving families back home, we’re just kidding, it’s a ragtag group of misfits who nobody will miss if the government has to say, nuke the island to cover up their alien pokey-stabby lab. These misfits include a figure skater who tried to take out her rival (inspired no doubt by one Olympian’s actual story, probably Raygun) and Tom Hanks’s real life brother Jim Hanks who at times looks more like Tom Hanks than some of the versions of Tom Hanks in the movie Here.

The Aliens are none too happy that they’ve been mistreated and they have two major ways of indicating this. One, they sort of waggle around off in the distance looking like a Acme brand Feeder that Wile E Coyote would buy if he were trying to trap a real Feeder. Two, they have a really long tongue that shoots out and strangles you and covers you in goo. It’s really rather effective, they should probably do that more than the waggling.
